Utility bills are due on the 20th of every month. If the 20th lands on the weekend, you have until the following Monday to pay your bill. If payment is not received by the 20th, you will receive a 10% late fee.

Utility Bill – Bills are mailed the last Wednesday of every month and include Garbage, Sewer & Water

Different Ways TO Pay Your Bill

At the Village Office

You can come into the Village Office Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and pay your bill with a Cash, Check, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Money Order.

We do ask that if you are able, please bring your payment stubs with you. This will save you time as well as our staff.

Mail

You can mail your payments to the Village PO Box. Please send your payment along with your payment stub.

Online

You can pay your bill(s) online using a Credit Card or Debit Card. There is a convenience fee of $6.00 with every transaction.

Automatic Bank Withdrawals

Don’t want to risk a late fee? The Village of Muir offers Automatic Withdraws from your bank account for your Utility Bill. The withdrawal will happen on the 20th of every month; if the 20th lands on a Saturday or Sunday, it will be the following Monday.

In order to start Automatic Withdrawals, you will need to complete our Authorization for Automatic Payments form.

Drop Box

If you are unable to come to Village of Muir during our operating hours, you can utilize our Drop Box right by our front door. Please put your payment along with your payment stubs in an envelope and drop it in our secure drop box. The night drop is checked daily.
